Microsoft introduces Microsoft Teams Essentials!
On the first of December, Microsoft Corp. announced the launch of Teams Essentials, their competitor for ZOOM. Teams Essentials is designed for smaller businesses, offering less functionality than MS Teams, but more than ZOOM. The pricing has been lowered from 5$ per user per month (increasing to 6$ in march) that MS Teams charges, to only 4$ per person per month.

Teams Essentials provides somewhat different functions from the standalone version, such as:

  • As many group meetings as you need, for up to 30 hours

  • A 300 person meeting maximum

  • 10 GB of cloud storage for every user

According to LinkedIn data, SMB open job postings are up 81.9% year over year compared to Nov. 1, 2020.
